It offered a huge storage system to compile and organize data for analysis and the late-binding feature was preferable for our situation because it works better with “what-if scenarios.” The Catalyst Analytics platform offered an advanced Atlas metadata management system which is a web-based tool that can store,search for and display metadata. It’s very easy to use because it works like a Google search where you can enter specific keywords and returns exact lexical matches. The exact lexical match is perfect for names of patients,doctors or medications,where you do not want just a similar match. The data acquisition and storage options were highly customizable – perfect for our specific needs. Health Catalyst makes it possible to design your own Source Marts which are automatically loaded in the corresponding Source Marts with very little,if at all,transformation to the original. They also created a highly reliable subsystem that supported all of the data storage and extractions that we made. Perhaps the best part of Health Catalysts services,and the reason we highly recommend them,is their customer service. It is absolutely top-notch. They provide their own implementation services that seamlessly transferred our hospital’s system to their system. Engagement executives kept our stakeholders informed and onboard throughout the entire transition. They also have highly knowledgeable technical directors who helped our IT specialists to identify our most important data sources and validate all the hardware and software installations.
